Tehran [Iran], November 17: The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Saturday firmly rejected reports of an alleged meeting between tech billionaire Elon Musk and Iran's ambassador to the United Nations.
Speaking to the state-run news agency IRNA, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said he was amazed by the "extensive media coverage" of the supposed meeting.
US media, including the New York Times, reported this week that Musk - a close adviser to President-elect Donald Trump - and Iranian UN ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani had met for an hour-long conversation in New York on Monday. (DPA)
